Technical Sales and IT Support

An opportunity for a new technical salesperson our Wellington store, which is located at 147 Taranaki Street, Te Aro, Wellington.

About The Role

We are currently looking for a versatile and experienced technical salesperson with the skillset of IT support and sales to join our established computer stores in Wellington. Someone who has experience in building a strong team and driving them towards achieving the organization's goals through coaching, mentoring, and developing them. You need to have very strong knowledge and skills of computer hardware and software.

The role required the skill set of sales skills, providing IT support for in-store clients, and managing sales in the stores. You will be directly reporting to the store manager and play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of the business. IT retail is a very competitive and service-oriented sector so you will need to build and maintain the brand and reputation. 

Any prospective applicant would be expected to have a strong history in the area of computer hardware and software industry.

Candidate with persistence and a never-give-up attitude who loves working against deadlines and targets. Please note that the role will require work on Saturdays.


Skills and Experience Required:

  • Build and establish reports quickly
  • Cold calling experience
  • Strong time management
  • Strong computer hardware assembly and softwareinstallation skills
  • At least 2 years of experience in the same field
  • Professional attitude and presentation as well ashighly motivated
  • A thirst for challenges and you are not afraid ofhard work
  • Strong communication, verbal and written skills
  • Good at identifying problems and troubleshooting hardware issues
  • Available for immediate start
  • Able to work independently and compatibility to work on weekends
  • Determining software and hardware requirements to provide solutions to problems
  • Provide monthly reports to demonstrate your progress
  • While you in-store provide telephonic and remotesupport for new and existing customers.
  • Work with internal teams to ensure a smoothtechnical integration.
  • Warehouse management skills.

Business Development Manager

An opportunity for a versatile and experienced Business Development Manager with the skillset of IT support and sales to join our established computer stores in Auckland and Wellington. Someone who has experience in building a strong team and driving them towards achieving the organization's goals through coaching, mentoring, and developing them.

Any prospective applicant would be expected to have a strong history in the area of business development as well as a formal qualification in business, management, or business administration. Knowledge of the IT industry would more preferable.

Candidate with persistence and a never-give-up attitude who loves working against deadlines and targets.

About The Role

The role required the skill set of business development and providing IT solutions for both in-store and onsite clients. We need a versatile and easy-going person. You will be directly reporting to the Managing Director and play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of the business. IT retail is a very competitive and service-oriented sector so you will need to build and maintain the brand and reputation.

You will have access to a database of clients to start you off with so you can hit the ground running.

You need to be very resilient and focus on achieving sales targets and of course, know how to close a sale.

  • B2B solution selling experience
  • Build and establish reports quickly
  • Cold calling and cold visiting experience
  • Strong time management
  • At least 2 years of experience in the same field
  • Professional attitude and presentation as well as highly motivated
  • A thirst for challenges and hardworking
  • Strong communication, verbal and written skills
  • Good at identifying problems and troubleshooting hardware issues
  • Able to work independently and compatibility to work on weekends
  • Determining software and hardware requirements to provide solutions to problems
  • Provide monthly reports to demonstrate your progress
  • Teamwork and cooperation
