ExtremePC is a fast-growing IT retail and wholesale business that provides a wide range of computer solutions and services to home and business clients. We have set up a new warehouse recently in Onehunga Auckland. Our Wellington branch is expanding even more faster and has moved to a new location with a much bigger size recently. 



Business Development Manager

An opportunity for a versatile and experienced Business Development Manager with the skillset of IT support and sales to join our established computer stores in Auckland and Wellington. Someone who has experience in building a strong team and driving them towards achieving the organization's goals through coaching, mentoring, and developing them.

Any prospective applicant would be expected to have a strong history in the area of business development as well as a formal qualification in business, management, or business administration. Knowledge of the IT industry would more preferable.

Candidate with persistence and a never-give-up attitude who loves working against deadlines and targets.

About The Role

The role required the skill set of business development and providing IT solutions for both in-store and onsite clients. We need a versatile and easy-going person. You will be directly reporting to the Managing Director and play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of the business. IT retail is a very competitive and service-oriented sector so you will need to build and maintain the brand and reputation.

You will have access to a database of clients to start you off with so you can hit the ground running.

You need to be very resilient and focus on achieving sales targets and of course, know how to close a sale.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • B2B solution selling experience
  • Build and establish reports quickly
  • Cold calling and cold visiting experience
  • Strong time management
  • At least 2 years of experience in the same field
  • Professional attitude and presentation as well as highly motivated
  • A thirst for challenges and hardworking
  • Strong communication, verbal and written skills
  • Good at identifying problems and troubleshooting hardware issues
  • Able to work independently and compatibility to work on weekends
  • Determining software and hardware requirements to provide solutions to problems
  • Provide monthly reports to demonstrate your progress
  • Teamwork and cooperation
